Spotted this flavour, Chocolate Salted Caramel, as I passed by Twelve Cupcakes in Bugis Junction. I have been wanting to try this particular flavour but never had the chance, so I decided to buy it on the spot. As the flavour is not on the regular menu and is deemed as "Today's special", you will have to pay an extra about 30 cents for the cupcake. As expected from Twelve Cupcakes, the chocolate cupcake base was moist and fluffy. What made this flavour so enjoyable was the caramel infused butter

I have been wanting to try this particular flavour but never had the chance, so I decided to buy it on the spot. As the flavour is not on the regular menu and is deemed as "Today's special", you will have to pay an extra about 30 cents for the cupcake. As expected from Twelve Cupcakes, the chocolate cupcake base was moist and fluffy. What made this flavour so enjoyable was the caramel infused buttercream together with the fudge and salted caramel topping. The caramel was not exceedingly sweet, and I could detect subtle hints of saltiness fro the salted caramel which was an additional bonus. The toppings went really well with the moist chocolate cupcake and I appreciated the crunchy chocolate balls added on top too!
