I ordered the Peace, Love and Muscles Chowder ($8.50) which was their chef's special! I upgrade it to a set that comes with a drink and a sandwich for an additional $4.90. I had ice lemon tea and ham&cheese sandwich! The soup already comes with a bread of its own, plus the soup was really thick and full of mussels. My friend tried it and he didn't like it. The soup already comes with a bread of its own, plus the soup was really thick and full of mussels. My friend tried it and he didn't like it. I supposed if you don't eat much vegetables on a regular basis, you won't like this soup because it has spinach taste in it and the soup is actually greener as compared to the picture shown there. The bread which was free, was really nice to eat! You can either eat it on its own or dip into the soup. The soup consists of a generous amount of ingredients, I would say the soup itself is 50% and ingredients 50%, and this is why it will make you full before you even finish it. I got very sick of it halfway through, so it's actually better to share with your friend.
The ham&cheese sandwich was really great!!!! It's nicely plated with salad at the side. The cheese and ham really makes a good combination! The bread itself was really nice and soft too. The salad had some raisins in it and it added some sweetness to the overall taste which is sour, yet sweet.
Generally, after trying soup spoon for two times, I think the next time I go to soup spoon again, I'll be trying more of the sandwiches than the variety of soups. And I think it will be better for two person to share one set because the soup is really filling.
