Texas Chicken has open a branch in Jurong East Westgate. I always wanted to try their chicken items but never got the chance to try as all their branches were so faraway. At this Westgate branch, there was a opening promotion whereby any meal purchase will get a Coke glass pepper shaker bottle free.I had ordered a Classic Chicken Burger set at $4.50. The Classic Chicken Burger does look similar to KFC Zinger Burger. With big piece of fried chicken patty and lots of mayonaise inside.
The taste of the Classic Chicken Burger was also quite similar to Zinger Burger, minus the spicy chilli. The fried chicken patty used thigh meat that was juicy and tender. Generous of mayonaise under the bun made the whole burger sinful to eat, though quite creamy and delicious.
