Went to Manpuku Japanese gourmet dining to study with my boyfriend, a pretty good ambience for studying but was a little disappointed with the Jap curry rice that I ordered. Went to Manpuku Japanese gourmet dining to study with my boyfriend, a pretty good ambience for studying but was a little disappointed with the Jap curry rice that I ordered. It was because of not being able to resist the temptation of the aroma from the curry rice that led me into buying it for my dinner. However, the aroma was kind of a "trick" as the curry was served slight warm, which spoils my rating of this food. Be it curry or whatever food, it should be served hot as it will allow people to think that the food is fresh or is newly made. The 'cold' curry made me disappointed and I think that it is not worth the money, even though it was about $7.50 per plate. The chicken was of very little portion.
To me, ordering curry rice means that the curry plays 90% of the whole food, so if the curry is disappointing, it spoils the whole image.
However, I do believe that the other food, like the Gyoza, is still rather good (:
