Due to the constant raves about the cupcakes from Plain Vanilla Bakery, it is always on my list of must-tries! However, the bakery is so far and inconvenient from where I live. Opportunit9y came when my friends decided to meet up at Holland Village! The bakery is located on the 2nd floor and I take away 2 cupcakes, Rose Pistachio and Chocolate Hazelnut. I wanted to try their Red Velvet but it was sold out. The Rose Pistachio cupcake looked so pretty and I was happy just looking at it. Taste-wise

Taste-wise, the rose pretty much overpower the pistachio flavour. I can't resist not ordering a chocolate flavoured cupcake and so I got the Chocolate Hazelnut but the taste was forgettable. I feel that just two flavours is not enough to justify their cupcakes and so I will try the others next time! Most definitely have to give the red velvet one a try!
