Came across this impressive looking restaurant with nice ambience.Classic French Onion Soup (with Gruyere Croutons)The clear soup’s smell is robust yet not overpowering and visually appealing. The taste is more on the sweet side (instead of usual savoury) . A piece of toasted bread topped with savoury cheese is dipped whole into the onion soup.Hoegaarden Battered Fish & ChipsUpon first impression was the miserable portion of chips/fries, which taste wise it’s okay. Crispy and still has it’s own

Hoegaarden Battered Fish & Chips
Upon first impression was the miserable portion of chips/fries, which taste wise it’s okay. Crispy and still has it’s own potato goodness within. Beer battered fish is also crispy and “airy” , meat is juicy, well seasoned and well deepfried into golden brown . There’s a side of mint mashed peas dipping and tartare sauce which you can choose from for your fish / fries.
