We were here for dinner after a celebration for National Day at Hong Lim Park earlier. Looking for a table near those popular tze cha stalls can be rather difficult during dinner on weekends. Happened to walk past this stall and right there, there were a few tables reserved by the stall. Most of the dishes on the menu are those common dishes available at most tze cha stalls. After browsed through, we settled for Fried Baby Squids ($10) and Sweet & Sour Pork($8). The rice is available at 0.50 cents per bowl.
The waiting time was a short one.
The 2 bowls of rice served next.
My partner was telling me that he enjoyed the rice quite a bit. The texture of rice was grainy, fluffy and rather moist.
I did not quite understand why the 2 dishes were garnished with such big brunch of coriander. We ended up picking them out and discarded it.
Another tip to share is that corner is a bit too dark to take good food pictures without a decent flash or external light source.
There are few famous tze cha stalls in this food centre so i am unlikely to be back too soon.
