First time eating at Anchorpoint's food court - Koufu. During this CNY period, this Koufu outlet appears to be lavishly decorated, giving the feeling of eating in a Chinese restaurant. Read the above review and decided to try 2 of the above food choices - Chicken Primavera and Pannacotta. My review is as follows:Chicken Primavera - Rather oily. Not sure if Aglio Olio meant to be so oily. The taste is mostly bland but I enjoyed the occasional taste of the bitter fried garlic bits in the spag
Chicken Primavera - Rather oily. Not sure if Aglio Olio meant to be so oily. The taste is mostly bland but I enjoyed the occasional taste of the bitter fried garlic bits in the spaghetti. It adds an intensive taste to the spaghetti, along with some flavourful chicken bits. Nonetheless, it does not qualify as my best spaghetti.
Pannacotta - This was delicious! Not for those who hate milk as the taste was a rich milky taste! I loved it! This dish can be further improved if the shape can be kept consistent as it now appears as one side higher than the other. If the shape can maintain its consistency, what you'll get is a PERFECT dessert dish!
My colleague tried the Crayfish Marinara. On first look, it does look tempting as the crayfish had been amazingly fried on the outside till it looked like a huge crispy wanton. However, it turned out that there is rather little meat within and it kind of left her with disappointment. But she did commented that the spaghetti sauce was delicious - reviews coming from a tomato fan!
Total cost (Chicken Primavera + Crayfish Marinara + 2 Pannacotta) = $17.10
Price is reasonable for the quality of food!
The stall also runs with a counter like that of Koi. Seems like this little operational idea is getting popular. I must mention that despite the presence of a counter which gives the feeling that a long wait is expected, we did not wait very long for our food, at least not more than 5 mins.
