Mings Kitchen is not like your ordinary Zi Char place. The waitress use PDA to take your order. I think it is pretty cool and high tech and your order gets send to the kitchen. My family decided to have our dinner there, as it was a weekend when we went there, there were simply a lot of people. It was in fact quite hard to even find seats. Mings Kitchen is located in a food court, so the seating areas are shared with people eating from other stalls as well. Lucky for us, we only had four people

Lucky for us, we only had four people so we found our seats quite quickly. Despite being swamped with a lot of people, the waitresses were very prompt and had initiative to come up to you can take your order.

We ordered a couple of dishes, like the Sliced Fish fry with spring onions and ginger (~$10), Fu Rong Egg medium size (~$8), 四季豆 Stir Fry Long Beans(~$8). A review of each of the dishes we ordered.

Sliced Fish with Spring Onions and Ginger - This dish was pretty good in my opinion. Firstly the fish they used were simply fresh, there was absolutely not fishy smell and the meat texture was not limp. The ginger and spring onions enhance the freshness of the fish, even if there was any fishy smell, i am certain the ginger flavour would have concealed it perfectly. The gravy that they fry the sliced fish with was pretty tasty, it was not too salty but goes well with the rice. The entire dish looked very appetizing because it had a mixture of colours from the onions and spring onions.

Fu Rong Egg - We were all stunned by the size of the Fu Rong Egg when they served it to use. The entire area of the egg was actually bigger than a person's face. that was how large it was. Every bit of the egg has ingredients like mini char siew bits, sliced mushrooms, sliced chilli and spring onions. The egg was seasoned perfectly, not too salty and not too bland. I think this was one of the more worth it dish to order. I just wonder how many eggs did they use to fry something this size.

四季豆 Stir Fry Long Beans - This is one of the Zi CHar stalls where the long beans are not overcooked and you and taste the crunchiness of the long beans. Their long beans still maintain the crunchiness and juiciness. They added dried shrimp to the dish as well. It was so so in my opinion.

As for their Level of Service, i would give them a three out of five. Kudos to the waitresses for their promptness and initiative. Fast in taking orders and giving us the bill. The 2 points i deducted was the speed the food took to come out, it was pretty slow but probably cos we went at the super peak period where they had an influx of customers.

For the atmosphere, i would say this place is good for large family gatherings as well cos they do have those large tables that can seat up to 10 people and baby chairs are also available. so not too bad.

I shall end this with my recommendation, go earlier, beat the dinner crowd and if you are going in big group and would need the large table, send people early to go chope seat cos there are not many large tables available.
