I was looking for a dinner venue and came across the rather empty Nando's restaurant. I decided to give it a try since my friends said the chicken is nice.I ordered a 1/2 Peri Peri chicken with 2 regular sides $21.90++ (corn on the cob & potato wedges), there is a choice of spicyness for the Peri Peri sauce from Extra Hot, Hot, Mild to Lemon & herb. The chicken was kinda dry, I had to add extra Peri Peri sauce on top to eat it. The meat was marinated with spices and tasted not bad. The Hot Peri Peri sauce is not really hot per se...I should have ordered Extra Hot instead. The corn on the cob and potato wedges were good though...overall a rather nice dish.My 'Bottomless' Ice lemon tea $2.90++
This is actually Ice tea from Heaven and Earth with added lemon. It is refillable.
Service was good when the restaurant was empty but the servers quickly became overwhelmed when the restaurant gets crowded. I need to try for 20mins to get my bill processed. I suggest to go try this at off peak hours.Post
