There was only a few eateries left after 9.30pm. We have chosen Malaysia Boleh thinking that it may not be crowded as dinner time - we can eat those we had missed out the other round but we was all round. There are still long queues everywhere and to make things worse, some of the food has sold out!
We have orderd a plate of Fried KL Hokkien Mee - $6.00, firstly because there is no queue at that time and one of us love dark sauce very much. The very dark sauce spoonful depicts the origins of KL fried hokkien mee served in the olden days kind of steel oval plate. This thick mee is totally different from what we have seen from ordinary singapore hawkers. It is smooth and silky, another version of Bee tai Mak but just that its fatter.
The thick Mee is coated with sweet dark sauce, each plate comes with a few pieces of cabbage, prawns, meat and every mouthful consume consists the fragrance of pork lard. Bear in mind that each plate is fried base on per order and you can still see the steam coming out from your plate.
One lady walked passed me and I thought the bowl of food that she was holding was quite appealing - its color catches my eyes, orange carrot, green vegetables and brown sauce soup.That's the Asam Laksa which costs $4. There are no other size given except for this! Asam laksa is well known for its sour and spicy taste and yes! this is what you get in the bowl.
After sipping down a few spoonful of the sour soup from the laksa, I find that my appetite had actually grown in size suddenly. The asam is definitely the culprit! Overall the taste is somehow there but you can have a more closer try in malaysia if you want to have a taste of how penang laksa is.
Paired with turnip, it makes the bite more crunchy and the greens protray a feeling that it's healthy.
The glue! Fried Oyster - $4$4 for a miserable plate of Orh Luak! Well, comes with a few orh luak with the slimy and gooy eggy prepared starch. The Oysters are somehow "divorce" from the island of egg, laying flat individually on top. This plate of Orh Luak is close to ordinary but it definitely has the malaysian style in it. There is no cripsy or crunchy bites from this plate!
The chilli that comes with it is rather special. It's not watery and quite strong in smell. Try it with the orh luak.
ServiceOverall service is moderate with self service. Well, the cleaners are well trained to clear up the used dishes fast.

Very difficult to get seats. Just imagine you still have to queue after 9.30pm. For the drink stall we also have to queue, it's maddness. In the end we gave up queuing for the Mata Kuching Drink.

There is a lady outside selling those traditional ice cream at $1.
