It was an after work gathering with my two besties. We went to Astons at Dhoby Ghaut The Cathay to have our dinner! I love Astons for its big portion and value for money prices. They started the trend of having one main dish and two sides to go along with. Many places now are copying their style. For Astons, you must go early to queue. However the plus point is that the staff will take your order first when you're close to being seated. I think it save us some time of waiting for the food to be served
That day i had the chicken cutlet with veggie and potato salad
I love the potato salad there, it's moist and not too sour or dry like they served in some places. However since its quite a big portion, i couldn't really finish the chicken cutlet towards the end. Turn out i scrap off the skin before being able to finish. I think it could be too greasy and dry at that point. I would say to have the grilled chicken next time, it may not be too oily and dry.
