I ordered the Yu Kee duck rice set for my dinner. Yu Kee is quite a famous brand name. If I am not wrong, there are a few outlets of Yu Kee in Singapore besides west mall. I requested for them not to drizzle the gravy, but they forgot and I just accepted it with gravy. I thought that with the gravy, the rice will be too salty since the rice is already braised with the duck sauce. To my surprise, it is actually quite okay, not too salty and the gravy helps to moisten the duck meat a little, making it more tender and flavourful. The braised firm tofu is also quite delicious with the gravy. However, I find myself quite thirsty after my meal, so it is best to drink more water after eating this.
