I had a Thickburger with fries and drink. The fries are the best thing at Carl Jr. They are the best tasting fries of any fast food joint in Singapore! The burgers at Big Splash seem squashed and soggy, compared to the Carl Jr at Far East Plaza.NONE of their burgers looked like the pictures they have everywhere. My THICKburger came out FLAT and not thick at all. It looked and tasted like any regular burger from Burger King's of MacD's. BUT at 3 times the cost!My companion had a burger with guaca

My companion had a burger with guacamole and bacon. We searched high and low in the burger for the guacomole and bacon and could NOT find any! We took the burger back to the counter and the cook searched the burger, prodded it and declared that the guacamole and bacon must be mixed into the burger somewhere in there. What the? Obviously even the cook couldn't find the guacamole or bacon either! The burger did NOT look anything like in the Carl Jr ad for that burger at all!
The unlimited drinks and UNhot jalepenos were good. why are the jalepenos unhot, I wonder? Really, the burgers were pretty pathetic. The Far East joint was slightly better but maybe I was simply hungrier at Far East than at Big Splash? Suggestion: just order fries when you are there or you'll be wasting your time.
