Timbre is known for its thin crust pizza but i didnt really wanted to eat pizza.. I was craving for its chicken wings but my friend had it yesterday so in the end, since it was just 2 of us girls we settled for the fish and fowl play platter! super cute name right? Basically, the dish came with bread and egg frittata and sort of dip like tapas. One of them was tuna (fish), the other 2 was duck and chicken ragout with mushroom, and the last one was supposed to be mango chutney but its tasted suspiciously like tomato salsa. I thought the portions looked small but the egg fritata sort of filled us up. I think the taste of the small sides were very basic, nothing screamingly god but was alright. The only special thing worth mentioning was probably the egg frittata. The texture was very interesting as it was omelette but it was a little cakey as well, as if it had mixed it with flour and then baked. Interesting and filling. It cost $20 and I would say it would fit a hungry man. alone.
