Just in Blk 155 of Bukit Batok Street 11 alone there are 2 well known Prawn Mee stalls. Often I get confused which stall sells the best hokkien mee as their reputation has been around since my school days. While some says the Fried Prawn Mee from Yong Xing's Coffeeshop is better and the others say the reverse. Having tried both, I would say that in general they tasted above average and both have their unique selling point.Being new to Bukit Batok area, I was unaware of such crowd during breakfas
There was a good balance of gravy, with yellow and white noodles well mixed in an acceptable taste of prawn stock. Signature's baby squid was included and fried together with eggs, enhancing the sweet taste of the prawn stalk. On the other hand, the belachan chilli that was tucked at the side of the place had complemented the dish well.
The plate of Mee doesn't have the WoW factor but overall taste was definitely better than most markets.
