This is my first time eating such an expensive popsicle, but apparently this shop uses absolutely only fresh ingredients without gelatin or artificial preservatives and the popsicles are made on a daily basis. The shop is not too difficult to locate; it's nestled within the cluster of food kiosks located just outside the Carrefour escalator leading to the basement carpark. This is a wide range of flavours to choose from and I decided on this fruit popsicle- Watermelon Lemon ($3.50) with the help
This is a wide range of flavours to choose from and I decided on this fruit popsicle- Watermelon Lemon ($3.50) with the help of the server's recommendation. Although you won't be able to sample any of the flavours before your purchase, the server is able to tell you how sweet/sour each popsicle tastes like and make appropriate recommendations. As each batch of popsicles is made daily and also depending on the composition of ingredients use, the taste of popsicles, for instance like the degree of sourness in their lemon based popsicles might vary. I was told that the day's watermelon lemon flavour was not neither overly sweet nor sour for that day's batch, and as I was looking for something refreshing and not decadent, I decided to settle for this flavour. True enough, the popsicle had a nice balance of sweet from the watermelon and sour from the citrusy lemon. Neither flavours are overpowering each other and it's a really nice blend of sweet and sour which was really refreshing and uplifting. The popsicle was rather icy and I enjoyed nibbling on the ice parts!
