Quiznos Subs opened its first branch in Singapore in 2009. Currently, there are 6 Quizno Subs stores island wide. Visited Quiznos Subs at CityLink Mall on a Sunday at 11am. It was still early and we were their first customers.
Four simple steps teaching customers how to order.
Step 1: Choose the sub and size (6 / 9 / 12 inch)
Step 2: Choose your Artisan Bread (White Bread, Brown Bread or Rosemary Parmesan)
Step 3: Make it a Combo
- Add $2.90 for Small Fountain Drink + Chips / Cookie / Soup (cup size)
- Add $3.80 for Small Fountain Drink + Side Salad
Step 4: Having Here or Takeaway
Pepper Bar where you can add on pepperoncinis, jalapenos, banana peppers, pickles or sauce.
I ordered a Signature Subs - Classic Italian ($6.50) and made it a combo by topping up $2.90. I chose the Broccoli Cheese Soup.
I quite like my first Quiznos Subs experience. I am not a sandwich expert. But although Quiznos Subs seems to be $0.50 to $1 more expensive than Subway, its ingredients are fresh and you can ask for extra at no extra cost. Moreover, the Broccoli Cheese Soup makes the cost even more justifiable! (well that's my personal opinion). Looks like Quiznos Subs will be giving Subway a run for its money!
Chew on this: The name Quiznos was chosen because the letters Q and Z were the least used in English Alphabet.
