I prefer bread over rice so I was thrilled to find this food item on Yaki Yaki Bo's menu. I've never seen Japanese restaurants serving food along with bread so it was a nice surprise. Since I didn't have to add-on a bowl of rice, it costs just $9.90 for this dish (ala carte). I expected the grilled chicken to be salty but it wasn't. It was tender but not juicy. I expected the grilled chicken to be salty but it wasn't. It was tender but not juicy. It has a light taste so I decided to try them with black pepper sauce and it went well with it. The chicken is then topped off with fried garlic..which I didn't really like since the garlic taste was too overwhelming for me. The bread was actually garlic bread and its thick and hard. I had to use my hands to tear the bread. Also, I noticed "neighbouring" tables who tried the dishes with the bread either did not eat the bread or only ate the inner side of the bread, leaving the bread ears.

Although it initially looked like there's not much chicken, I was relatively full after finishing the entire dish alone. Pretty worth it in my opinion. I'd totally order this item again next time I'm at Yaki Yaki Bo
