8 Degrees recently moved to a new location in the North-East after the media publicity over parking space along Yio Chu Kang Road. At that time, due to the new opening, they were offering set meals in bento boxes as a promotion. The thick and sweet mango sauce complimented the crispiness of the fish batter. There was an 3/4-boiled egg and some salad. Two mini Taiwan sausages added a nice touch to the cheap plastic box.
Halfway through her meal, Merlion Wayfarer was quite horrified to find a hair in the salad. Instead of replacing the entire set, the owner replaced just the salad with another type.
Oh horrors of horror... Even though the service was good, with an endless supply of plain water, find such gross things in the meal was a no-no for Merlion Wayfarer. Yikes...
