My colleague bought 3 boxes of mini baos for us which cost $18 so one bao is $0.60. According to her, the baos here are all handmade. Customers can watch how they roll the dough, filled the stuffing and steam them. I pick one and it was a sweet red bean paste (Tau Sa) one. The filling is thick and rich and the bao size is just nice in a bite size. The red bean paste was dark in colour with a smooth as silk texture. This makes a good breakfast as well as afternoon snacks or even dessert.
