This is a little backtracked. It was Valentine's Day, my bf and I with another couple friend of ours were chilling out at Holland Village after our respective V.Day dinner. You know, there's always room for dessert especially after a good meal plus it was an occasion, it set us all in a holiday mood. We were deciding between a few ice-cream places but nothing beats Haagen Dazs and the next thing we knew, we were already drooling as we flipped through the menu.

We got greedier than wanting just a single scoop each. We ordered the Fondue in the end. Waiting for it to arrive was getting us excited already. It then arrived after 10 minutes or so, and what sat in front of us was a white porcelain bowl of melted, creamy, luxurious and sinful-but-worth-it chocolate.. surrounded other various ingredients such as cut fruits: strawberries, banana and green apples. There was also the dough section: chocolate chip cookies, chocolate waffle biscuit stick and vanilla angel food cake. Not forgetting the important part too, 16 mini-sized scoops of ice-cream! 4 flavors, 4 scoops each.

Honestly, I don't know how Haagen Dazs does it but there is something about their ice-cream that is just so good, simply indulging, creamy and heavenly, especially the chocolate-flavored ones.. the cocoa is just so rich and natural. Addictive.

A lovely choice for dessert to be shared and 4 is a good crowd.
