We were looking for a casual brunch place and suddenly remembered we often saw 15 minutes when we walked past la-salle and it looked cool so decided to give it a try. I really like the ample space in this cafe and the people working there were friendly. Its the perfect kind of place to study/work on your lappy or read for a saturday because-all-cafes-are-full these days. We didnt expect alot out of the food and were nt too hungry so i took the pumpkin salad and my bf took the romaine salad. We a
the fun thng abt the place is that the salads actually came in the bottles u see in the picture! quite cool concept! so they give u a serving plate to pour your salad onto it. Umm i must say for $7.50 the portion and ingredients were not worth it. They had used mayo as the sauce, mine had 4 pieces of pumpkin, some capsicum and sundried tomatoes. My bf's romaince salad had a hard boiled egg, some cashew nuts and romaine. Especially if its situated in a school.. i would think they shld price it at like $5.50 maximum.. i saw some others eating the sandwich which looks much more value for money..
cheese nachos was quite alright.. but i dun think u can go very wrong with this right.. for that small portion.. it cost $4.50..
I will hesitate to try the pizza because if it cost 9.90.. i would think its the ones u can buy from cold storage.. I will probably visit again if i need a place to stay for a long time on saturday.. but its not worth coming here just for the food..
