Malaysia Boleh is relatively new in Jurong Point. It is NOT a restaurant so just step in and be ready to discover a whole new world! It is really an interesting place to eat at if you haven’t tried yet. It mimics the food streets in Malaysia, albeit a lot cleaner (: It is like an air-conditioned and high-class hawker centre. They also play retro Chinese music in the background, giving off old-fashioned and classy vibes. There are many stalls selling many Malaysia/Singapore

There are many stalls selling many Malaysia/Singapore good food like hokkien mee, fried kway teow, chicken rice etc. etc. Reminds me of Marche – but with local food. You will be spoilt for choice! A good place to recommend to your foreign friends who want to try local food but don’t want to brave the heat.

My friend and I decided to try one of the mee rebus (see picture!).

I was quite surprised that it is actually quite spicy even though it does not appear to be. There are two types of noodles – one is the thicker white ones, and one is the mifen ones. The gravy is really fragrant, delicious and very very good. It is a few notches better than the ones you find in hawker centres. Definitely worth a try.

The service is very fast-paced and clears your tray almost immediately when you finished.

However, the downside is that this place is so popular that it is difficult to find a space to eat. We were there at 6pm and it was already so crowded. I can't imagine when it is the peak hour dinner time at 7 plus, the crowd would be crazy!
