Went to the restaurant with my friends. This was a different kind of steamboat experience for me because this was a restaurant that gave me a high-class 'atas' kind of feeling. The restaurant was decorated nicely with pretty chandeliers and setting. It got me in the mood to dine once I enter the restaurant. Servings in individual pots was a plus point for me because I could order any soup base I like without having to think about others. We each ordered a different soup base to try out their different flavours. I ordered the mushroom soup base as i wanted to try a blend of Western-Fusion style steamboat. It was really creamy, thick and delicious. It also went well with the all meat set that I have ordered. They also had the vegetarian set which my vegetarian friend ordered. The ingredients were fresh and what makes me really enjoy the food was the special sauce that they provided. There was a salad counter for you to mix the sauces. They had an option to top up the food so we each ordered extra ingredients.
The staff were cordial and the food was served promptly and they were quick to answer our orders.
We spent an average of $33 per person.
Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner experience and we hope to go back down to try different soup bases that they offer such as beef consomme, minestrone , laska and bak kut teh.
