My friend introduced me to this Hokkien Prawn Mee stall at Bukit Batok recently. Though I lived nearby for years, I never knew there was such a good Hokkien Prawn Mee stall there.I went there during lunch time and there was some queue, but the order came fast after a while.If you wanted to add extra their special Chilli sauce, this Hokkien Prawn Mee stall charges 50 cents. The Hokkien mee was very moist and flavourful with meat stock. I could not taste any MSG in the gravy.
The prawns and sotong used were fresh and cooked just right, slightly crunchy. Though I did not like that the prawns still had shells on it.
Overall, this Hokkien Prawn Mee stall was among the better ones in the western district of Singapore, better than the Clementi Food Centre one.
