Dont give up cuz' there are plenty of good food around the cbd area. One of it will be the fish soup in Hup Lee Cafeteria. I still remember last year when im working in raffles place, their fish soup was priced at $5 per bowl. However, when im there yesterday, it had gone up by 50 cents more.
the fish soup is really good and don't be shock when you see long queues every now and then. It is normal.

The way they cooked their fried fish was really special. It is definitely different from what you always had outside. It is super crispy and crunchy on the outside and tender inside! This is the best fish soup i had so far.

However, dont expect any service from them at all. Their service was atrocious but I guess people come mainly for the food. Remember to go early as they might just sold out by 3pm some times!
