The Udders Ice Cream outlet at Upper Thomson is quite big, with the choice to sit outside and inside. The stools are very cute and well-decorated, and there was also a board and markers provided for patrons to draw on it to leave their mark! The stools are very cute and well-decorated, and there was also a board and markers provided for patrons to draw on it to leave their mark! It creates a very homely, creative and funky feel of the whole place. My friends and I decided to share two scoops of ice-cream, Green Tea-rrific and Awesomely Chocolate. We also tried the flavour Mao Shan Wang Durian. The Mao Shan Wang Durian was really very strong, and it is as if you are eating the durian itself! I was quite surprised by the strength of the flavor, so if you are a durian lover, this is definitely a must-try.
I liked Green Tea-rrific a lot. I think Green Tea ice-cream is one of the best invented flavours, because it fits the texture of ice-cream itself very well. The flavors are all very authentic, it does not feel like it’s made from syrup or some fake flavoring. Awesomely Chocolate ice-cream is very chocolate – kind of reminds me of Awfully Chocolate. It is mixed with little flats bits of chocolate chips. It will probably get kind of gelat/sticky/sweet after a while, so it’s best to pair it with a non-chocolate, non-sweet flavor like Green Tea-rrific. This place is really quite cozy and I would definitely like to come back for more next time.
