Decided to try the Japanese fried rice at this stall. They have the standard bento sets as well. It's tough competition since there's another Japanese stall right next door. The fried rice was generous but a bit oily. Also, short grain rice was used, which is more starchy than long grain rice, making it very filling to finish the whole plate. At least the grains were all separate and not gluggy or stuck together.

There's bits of frozen vegetables and little bits of egg. There's also lots of burnt bits. I think that's supposed to give it flavour or "wok hei", but it really didn't appeal to me.

As a meal, it's filling. But it isn't very tasty at all. In fact, there's no taste except for the burnt bits. The service is very polite.

Not recommended for the fried rice. The price is definitely not worth it either. Maybe the bento sets would be better.
