My family wanted to have kueh lapis for breakfast, and so I got a block of it from bengawan solo; that small little piece costs about roughly $13, which I guess is still more value for money than getting individual slices. Didn't really like the kueh lapis as it was quite moist and damp, and a bit too sweet for my liking. I prefer the one from Prima Deli, which is not as moist, and you can distinctly taste the many layers of the kueh.
