Everytime I am in Serangoon area for dinner, Wimbly Lu comes to mind as the ideal place for desserts after a meal. Having tried their root beer cake, I ordered the seemingly simple yet difficult to do it well chocolate lava cake. Wimbly Lu's lava cake is rather small in portion, and fails to impress - the molten chocolate did not flow and ooze out once a cut was made. Best to try something else when you are here.
