We chanced upon this place when my hubby searched for places with nice views for photography. When we visited the Country Club, we saw this nice restaurant with a small but cozy pub beside it. It was a great discovery for us!

Mr Johnny Tan, the restaurant's chef-owner, is well-known in the trade as the guru of garouper breeders. His giant Queensland garoupas are 'must-try's!!! There are 10 ways of preparation but the best & most simple way is to steam it. The flesh is crunchy and succullent.

We love the crispy cereal squid, sambal winged beans and the delicious la-la beehoon cooked in special fish bone soup. They also have fish & chips but done with sailing fish. The portion is good for 2. Their lobsters and crabs are also freshly delivered daily. I like the chili crab with fried mantou! Slurp!!!

The guava with plum sauce, served on the house at the end of the meal is also their specialty. The unique taste lingers and you'll end up asking for more!

To get to the club, which is open to the public, take the MRT train to Sengkang and take a free shuttle bus to the club. It operates every hour on weekends (including Friday), and three-hourly on weekdays.
