I spotted a variant of bread from Barcook which I have not tried, the Liu Sa Bao, or flowing custard bun at the corner of the display and I knew I had to try it. The bun as expected from Barcook breads, was soft and fluffy. The main attraction was the salted egg custard filling encased inside the bread, which was unexpectedly rich, full of salted egg flavour and "flowing". One bite and the filling gushed out from the bread! It was unfortunate that the bread I bought was already on display for some time and was no longer warm, if not I would have enjoyed eating this even more!
