my mother bought back a box of Ma kuo Kueh from toa payoh’s bengawan solo for my sister’s and my breakfast. We both love ma kuo kueh since young. My grandmother used to make it for us. Bengawan solo’s ma kuo kueh really taste like home made. The kueh is so soft and fluffy. It is very moist but yet does not stick to your teeth. They got give brown sugar to go with the kuek cos the kueh itself is rather tasteless. It is just so delicious!
