I passed by Bengawan Solo and bought a slice of their mango cake to try. They are more well known for their kaya cake, but I decided to try a fruit cake from there. It was a rather huge slice, with tiny bits of peanuts at the back, which added crunch to the cake. The amount of diced mangoes placed on top of the cake was also reasonable, but were not very sweet. I didn't quite like the cream though. Overall quite a nice mango cake.
