I tried starbucks new summer drink for the year- the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino ($6.90, tall) here at Liat Towers. I really like the homely, warm ambience in this particular starbucks outlet, but it got really crowded in the afternoon and I was initially unable to find a seat inside the cafe. I really like the homely, warm ambience in this particular starbucks outlet, but it got really crowded in the afternoon and I was initially unable to find a seat inside the cafe. I requested for less sweet for the drink and I realised it didn't taste as satisfying, it was as if it lacked punch. Sugar level aside, I'm not a particular fan of this particular concoction because I don't really think the cookie goes well- because it was blended into the drink, there are a lot of cookie bits floating around the drink and I didn't think it enhanced the flavour of the drink in any way. I would rather stick to dark mocha or java chip fraps.
