It was my dad's birthday and we were looking for something that's light on the palate, and fruit cakes are very common hence we decided on the Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc is essentially vanilla sponge cake layered with whipped cream and chestnut filling, topped with chestnut cream. We bought the smallest cake (480g) which serves 6, for $36. The Mont Blanc is essentially vanilla sponge cake layered with whipped cream and chestnut filling, topped with chestnut cream. We bought the smallest cake (480g) which serves 6, for $36. I felt that the sponge cake was kinda dense and dry. The level of the sweetness was just right for me. I don't think there's anything special about their Mont Blanc and will try out their other cakes instead next time.
