It was my first time at Tiong Bahru Bakery. I always saw there is a long queue during the weekends so I reckoned that it is quite popular. I went in during one of the weekday and decided to have a light dinner there. I ordered a croissant which cost $3.20 and a Cappuccino that cost about $6.00. The croissant was really delious. One of the best croissants that I have ate in Singapore so far. Somehow this bakery is in collaboration with Gontran Cherrier, a celebrity baker from Paris. Hence there is a certain level of standard for all their pastries. There are a wide variety of pastries to choose from, from baguette to sandwiches and tarts. Would love to try them all and would definitely go back again.
