Recently, I fall in love with Ichiban Boshi, my new favourite Japanese restaurant. They have a lot of set meals available, divided into premier, business and executive levels which I like as one can have a little of everything in a meal.

While dining with my bf, I decided to try Sukiyaki Wazen set meal, which consists of claypot beef with assorted vegetables, salmon sashimi (my favourite) , udon, appetizer, miso soup, rice and fruit. I have ordered this in other Japanese restaurants and wanted to try whether this is as good.

It didn't disappoint me, though the soup base for the claypot was rather salty (the color looked like soya sauce!) The service was rather efficient as we were served promptly and the ambience was welcoming with warm lighting. It was filling too so definitely worth going there again!
