I didn't know the place had been refurbished into a more homey place with earthy tones - more woody and has the warm feel to it, compared to their usual 'green' and cool (white lights) which has the feel to rush. It was gloomy after a huge rainpour, so inside was chilly enough to put the windows foggy.I'd not comment on the drinks and stuff because everyone knows it for sure, but I'd say this joint has something different from the rest now since it's new.The service I think has picked up as well

The service I think has picked up as well with their new look - somehow they are also very much more welcoming.

rather than we having a quick takeaway break, the place invites us to sit and chill, enjoy the surrounding area where Bugis is filled with people, or have a meetup with business people without having to choke on yourself.
It'll be the best Starbucks place for me now (indoors version)!
