The aunties manning the dessert stalre friendly and chatty. I prefer to pay a little more for desserts that I can take the time to to savpur rather than for overpriced cold drinks where the stallholder rakes a premium without adding value. The ice kachang and chendol here are very good even though they cost about the same or slightly more than at Food Republic. My friend said the chendol was lemak and had good quality concentrated gula melaka sauce. They used kidney beans and were generous with the green bean strands.
