Luckily I didn't have to queue for long to get some of this bean curd as i got there before peak hour.I tried the almond ones and the original. The taste is alright. Not very soy beany. I think people get it for the texture. it has a silky texture, like a soft silky pudding. Probably due to adding some gelatine or agar in it to set it. It is obviously not just plain soy bean as it's not "cut" like normal soy bean. it is "set" in the tub, like it's been poured in and set in the fridge. It's quite

It is obviously not just plain soy bean as it's not "cut" like normal soy bean. it is "set" in the tub, like it's been poured in and set in the fridge. It's quite sweet, so there's no sugar syrup on top. The sugar is mixed into the "pudding".
It's not really bean curd as such. Definitely more a pudding.
The service is polite and fast and people tend to get truckloads since they lined up for so long.
Overall, not a fan of the taste, but the texture is smooth. i prefer a wholesome, true and honest, real soy bean curd. Preferably organic too! Passable. Not really worth lining up for! It's pretty cheap at $2++ per tub depending on flavour.
