Had purchased the dining vouchers for the buffet BBQ and steamboat. Was extremely disappointed!1. The promotion stated that the usual price for the buffet is at $44.50, which the promotion price is at $24.50 nett. But when I reached the restaurant, it's stated that the price for the exact same buffet is at $16.50+. Why the huge difference in prices?2. The seafood platter was not fresh! The scallops were slimy and so were the mussels. 3. The vegetables that came with the set had golden mushrooms,
1. The promotion stated that the usual price for the buffet is at $44.50, which the promotion price is at $24.50 nett. But when I reached the restaurant, it's stated that the price for the exact same buffet is at $16.50+. Why the huge difference in prices?
2. The seafood platter was not fresh! The scallops were slimy and so were the mussels.
3. The vegetables that came with the set had golden mushrooms, which were not fresh as well. The tip of the mushrooms were so dry and were chocolate brown in colour!
4. The meat (beef and pork) were so salty until I couldn't swallow after having 4 pieces.
5. The lard that was used to coat the BBQ created so much oil in the soup until there was a thick layer of oil on it!
Overall, the whole experience was very unpleasant!
I spent $24.50 per pax to have 4 pieces of meat, 2 pieces of squid, and that's all!
And worse, it's stated that the price is $16.50+ if we dine there straight!
I have never experienced a situation where I paid more to "enjoy" a promotion, when I could just go there straight without "enjoying" any "promotion", and pay much lesser!
