When I saw there were many people queueing at this Lao Ban BeanCurd stall, I also went to queue to try their offering. They have quite a number of flavours of beancurd on sale. When I saw there were many people queueing at this Lao Ban BeanCurd stall, I also went to queue to try their offering.

They have quite a number of flavours of beancurd on sale. But I think I thought it would be safer to try their famous orginal one.

The beancurd smelled like almond pudding. The look of the beancurd also looked like one.

The texture of the beancurd was not like regular beancurd, it was slightly softer and more slippery.

The taste was somewhat not as good as I would be expected. More of creamer taste than soya bean taste and a bit too sweet for my liking. There was a hint of vanilla or almond essence, I am not too sure.

Overall, at this price I would prefer have hot orginal beancurd from other traditional stalls than this one.
