This has been the nicest Penang fried kway teow that i tried in Singapore. I always requested to have extra chilli added. It tasted better this way. The difference between the Penang and the local version of fried kway teow is dark sweet sauce is not used in Penang fried kway teow. The kway teow was fried nicely fishcake, prawns and cockles with a lot of bean sprouts. A generous bit of fried pork lards were added to enhance the flavour.
