Yuhua Hawker Centre was very crowded in the morning, totally different from the dark dessert look in the evening. There are many long queue stalls, one of them is Simei Penang Laksa Specialty.

The queue here was messy. There was no queue, you just go to the stall front and order with the aunty and just wait at the side for your order to be served.

The penang laksa ($3) came piping hot and had a heavy savoury aroma of fermented prawn paste. The appearance looked red and spicy but the taste was not spicy at all. The soup had minced fish meat and tasted of sourish assam. There was also many shredded vegetables given in the soup and it tasted refreshing with the sourish soup.

Overall, I liked this penang laksa, but the fish given was quite little.
