The new place to hit the Farrer Park / Pek Kio / Jalan Besar scene is recently opened Wood Shed who specializes in coffee and cakes currently.The drinks menu is rather simple.The Flat White ($5.50) is made from a blend sourced from a local roaster. The cakes selection are sourced from Cakes Literally, which is just a few street away. The Red Velvet cake ($6) is firm and not crumbly. The amount of cream cheese added in each layer felt just right as well.
Come April, they will be selling mains in their menu. If you are around the Pek Kio area, this is a great addition to the late night brunch spots to visit by then!Post
