I try to avoid coming during lunch hour since it would be packed with people, so I came earlier at 11pm. There is a fresh batch of pastries out and everything smelt really nice. I got 10 of the pong pia biscuits and ate one on the spot. I was blown away at how nice the pong pia is. The exterior crust is so crispy and fragrant with the taste of the white sesame seeds and I chewed on them. The sweet filling inside is still slightly warm and very sticky and yummy.
