Shopping at Tiong Bahru Plaza and had a craving for Nasi Lemak.
The Popiah at first didn’t look too appealing. popiah skin was obviously dry and hard, tried to cover by spreading a lot of sweet sauce and chilli to make it moist and soft.I know my popiahs. The filling was average.

Came to the spotlight of the meal, the rice is fluffy and fragrant. The smell of coconut arouses and I was almost drooling my way through while queueing for it. The portion was generous too! Chicken was well cooked and crispy. Otah is the soft/dry “style” , I wished it were more evenly lightly charred because it was kind of Al Dente at the other side. Ikan kuning is dry and tough. Didn’t like it. Breaded fish was a little cold, I think it’s been left there as demand is low. The best part is the Sambal chilli which was mild and tangy and made the perfect companion to all the food on the table.

The Nasi Lemak here was so nice that we ate 3 servings between the 2 of us. FATTTTTT!
