Dessert:shared a few cakes and several flavors of gelato among our group over a desert gathering after dinner. The most memorable MUST-TRY desserts were:1) pistachio & hazelnut drink 2) black forest cake (was pleasantly surprised and how differently it tasted from the typical black forest cakes we have in singapore)However, all of my friends did not like the pinocchio flavored gelato, we couldn't put a finger on what it exactly tasted like, some described it tasted like rotten fruit. However, all of my friends did not like the pinocchio flavored gelato, we couldn't put a finger on what it exactly tasted like, some described it tasted like rotten fruit. (I did not try it after deterrence from 8-9 other people who tried it)
Environment:
It is an open concept cafe (not air-conditioned) but the place is well-ventilated & cooling because it is situated right beside the walkway where the airflow is designed to be at.
Good for catching up with a few or groups friends, there were a few other groups of friends catching up till late also. We left at around 10pm.
Price: Reasonable
Conclusion: Although we couldn't appreciate the gelato supposedly famous and named after the cafe, will go back for the black forest cake and pistachio & hazelnut drink for it's reasonable prices & ambiance.
